that we go apple picking one saturday.
i brought along my polaroid, with no particular plan in mind.
once we got started i realized that there were ten pictures
in the camera and ten people there. i started to take
one picture of each person. as the pictures developed, a
theme started to emerge:
the apple orchard of the damned.
it's kind of like "the garden of eden" meets "the blair witch
project."
i had to be conservative, since i only got one shot per person.
and eventually dirtnap, michelle and baby managed not to
get their pictures taken. (so i substituted myself. i didn't mean
for that one to be such an extreme, egomaniacal close-up, but my arms
aren't that long.) but overall it came out pretty well.
they're in the order they were taken, which works
better than any artsy rearrangement i've tried.
